Sunriver, Ore. -- D.A. Weibring birdied the final two holes Thursday and Tom Lehman birdied his final hole as the two share the lead after the first round of the Jeld-Wen Tradition. Both players finished at 5-under-par 67. Twenty-five golfers are within three strokes of the lead.
One of those is two-time Champions Tour major winner Bernhard Langer, who posted a first-round 69.
“The golf course is there for the taking,” said Lehman after his round in which he made nine birdies.
